Born Salena Hobson in Tuckerman Arkansas, Mrs. Page moved with her family to Portland, Oregon in 1944. She went to work for Montgomery Wards, where she met her future husband, Orville Page. They were married in 1946.
Together, they raised four children. She was actively engaged in her children’s activities outside the home, including Cub Scouts, Brownies, Little League, and PTA. She taught them an appreciation of the great outdoors on frequent camping and hiking trips.
She is preceded in death by brother Raymond, sisters Audrey Morrill and Virginia Dahl, and husband Orville.
She is survived by brother James Hobson, sisters Ruby Condart and Lea Emery, her four children Nancy, Janice, David, and Dale, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, February 5th at the Greater Portland Baptist Church, 17800 SE Main Street, Portland, Oregon.
