Ricky Lee Larkins was born July 23, 1946 in Portland, Oregon to Dale and Alice. He passed away peacefully October 14, 2023 at the age of 77 after a five year battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. He met the love of his life Molly Ann while serving, she preceded him in death.
Ricky is survived by his son Garey (Amy), his daughter Lisa, grandsons Mason (Nicole) and Nathan, as well as his Granddaughters McKenzie, Grace, Molly, and grandson Gavin.
Ricky graduated from Milwaukie High School, and immediately enlisted in the Marines. He served several tours in Vietnam, reaching the rank of Sergeant. We are beyond grateful for his service to our Country. After his service he returned to Portland and started a family. He worked in manufacturing until his retirement.
He loved his wife above all. But other loves were BBQ’s with friends and family, watching and attending NASCAR races in Vegas every year, a gift from his wife. He loved football (Seahawks), Baseball (watching his Grandson Mason and the Mariners), playing pool, darts, and golf in the garage/game room with family and friends. He was the life of every party. His fun loving attitude, goofy sense of humor, and love of life will be missed.
A service of Military Honors will be announced at a later date.
