Norma Jean Robison was born November 17, 1932 and passed away in Gresham, Oregon on June 9, 2020.
Norma was born in Morrilton, Arkansas to Henry and Mable Taylor. Her parents and their 5 children relocated to Gresham, Oregon in the 1940’s. Norma graduated from Gresham High School in 1950. She married her high school sweetheart Edward G. Robison. They had two children Cathy and Mark.
Norma and Ed resided in Portland, Oregon and they owned and operated a few businesses in Gresham. Ed and Norma were active members of the Jaycees and then the Gresham Elks. Ed and Norma were one of the first couples to join the Gresham Elk on Wheels and enjoyed travelling many years with the group. Norma and Ed spent their retirement years traveling between Yuma, AZ and their home in Portland. Norma enjoyed reading, playing bridge, watching Trailblazers games and going to her grandchildren events. Edward passed away in 2009. Norma resided at Courtyard Fountains for the past year where she enjoyed reconnecting with old and made new friends.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, and her four siblings. She is survived by her children Cathy (John) Welch and Mark (Mary) Robison and her grandchildren Jared Welch, Jason (Nick) Webster, Taylor Robison, and Blake Robison.
A memorial service will be held at a date tba, at Gresham Memorial Chapel. Norma will be committed at Douglass Cemetery in Troutdale, Oregon.
