Michaeline (Mikki) Stitch passed away October 17, 2019 due to complications from ALS. Age 79. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, on March 31, 1940. Her family moved to California where she lived until she visited Oregon. She loved Oregon and moved there in 1977, spending her next 42 years there.
Mikki was a strong independent woman with an entrepreneurial spirit. She owned a variety of businesses. Most notably the popular “Royal Chinook Inn” in Corbett, Oregon, also the “Flower Garden” in Sandy, Oregon.
A beloved matriarch, Mikki (Guggie) loved hosting holidays and cooking for family and friends. Her favorite thing to do though, was to dote over her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Edward, 2 children; Michaeline “Kelly” Riley & Bryan Schroeder; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Gresham Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 noon, follwed by a Celebration of Life at Lakeside Gardens, 16211 SE Foster Rd., Portland, Oregon 97236 at 1:30pm.
