Marcia Ann (Blank) Nado, 66, passed away surrounded by family at her home in Toutdale, Oregon on January 9, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 27, 1952. She graduated from Marycrest High School in 1970 and later Portland State University. She obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from Mt Hood Community College and worked as a dental Hygienist for more than 40 years. She also earned her Elementary Education Certification and worked as a substitute teacher. Marcia was married to her loving husband Greg Nado for 42 years. Marcia was preceded in death by parents Gerald and Clara Blank and brother Joseph Blank. She is survived by her husband Greg Nado, daughters Stephanie Hansen (Charles) and Mari Duck (Robert), son Scott Nado, grandchildren Norah and Benjamin Hanson and Emerald Duck, siblings David Blank, Alice Freuler (John), Annie Allen, Peter Blank, and Nancy Filippino (Adam). A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday January 19th at St. Henry Catholic Church 346 NW 1st Street Gresham, OR. A rosary will precede the mass at 10:00am. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Oregon Dental Foundation for the Tooth Taxi or St. Vincent de Paul/St. Henry Conference.
