We are heartbroken. Our dear Kevin died peacefully in his sleep, on April 6, 2021 in Gresham, Oregon. He was only 26.
Kevin is survived by his infant son, Noah, who was the light of his life; Mother Christy (Mark), Brother Justin (Lindsey); Father Rich; Best friend Sam; Noah’s Mother Rachel. Kevin is also survived by Grandmothers Nancy, Deanna, Sue; Grandfather Rich; Uncles Andy, Alex, Pat, Donavan, Mark; Aunts Jenette, Anna, Karol, Sandra, Sharon; and six cousins.
Kevin grew up in Gresham and graduated from Sam Barlow High School. He decided to serve our country and enlisted in the USAF. Off to Texas he went. There, his flight won Honor Flight and Beast Week Excellence. He graduated technical school in Florida, trained in Aircraft Structural Maintenance. From there he spent time in North Dakota and Guam working on the B52 aircraft, and South Korea working on the F16.
After he returned home, Kevin worked for UPS, USPS, DHS/CPS, and then was hired on with TriMet in an office position he enjoyed very much. Fun fact –Kevin typed 70 words per minute (self taught).
Kevin was an avid online gamer with World of Tanks “Glacyte” and played in tournaments often. He absolutely loved the mountains and going snowboarding. He even got permission from his commander in the military to go snowboarding while stationed in South Korea. Kevin enjoyed the Pacific Northwest and the beauty of all we have to explore nearby. Including the ocean, mountains, lakes, camping, fishing, and he had plans to go hunting with his brother this year. Kevin also enjoyed looking at many images from outer space. He was fun, caring, strong, loving, brave, courageous, thoughtful, helpful, wise, and liked making people laugh. Kevin was always there for his family and friends. Kevin was a loyal friend, amazing brother, loving son, and an incredible father. Most of all he couldn’t wait to enjoy life with his son Noah.
Kevin will always be loved and in our hearts forever.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid;(A) do not be discouraged,(B) for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
Thank you to Gresham Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at Good Shepherd Community Church on Sunday, July 18 at 3:30pm. We welcome all of Kevin’s friends, family, coworkers to attend.

Thank you for helping me over the years. Thank you for your help building my computer. Thank you for the liquor you sent me a few years ago. I still have the bottle unopened sitting on my entertainment center. Wish we were able to sit around and talk about women and work. Talking about games and fishing. You’ll always be a part of my life. Thank you brother

April 16, 2021 at 6:13 pmMan… where do I even start. We met years ago man online playing RS we talked here and there and then we clicked and you became a good friend and we got to know each other more as time passed, then you joined the Air Force and I swear you tried to convince me to join every time we talked. Until you got out haha. Our bond grew even stronger as we both found out we were going to be fathers! We both loved the idea of it, you were really a great guy and I know you were going to be the best father you could be for your son. It’s hard leaving this man I wish I got you meet you this side of heaven but life had other plans, love you brother you’ll be in my heart and missed dearly. Your friend Mike
