Joyce Darlene Lindsay (Joy)
September 13, 1952-November 6, 2020
Joy is the perfect name for her—to know her is truly a joy! She is kind, generous, fun and loving: she loves her family, her pets, her friends, hummingbirds, cooking, making chocolates, getting pedicures, plants and flowers, playing games, going for walks and drives…
Joy was born in Oregon City, OR. She passed in her home in Sandy, OR. She attended David Douglas High School and also took some classes at MHCC. She worked at various places including Platt Electric and most recently worked at Sandy Fred Meyer where her customers and coworkers adored her—some of her customers waited in line just to see her!
She is survived by her husband, her children and their families, including her grandchildren, two brothers and their families, her cat and her friends. Her husband Jim says, “She gave my life meaning and strength everyday.” We all love her and miss her so much. Her smile was beaming. She was so sweet and a light for all of us. Rest in peace, dear Joy.
If you would like to send a card to Jim and the family, please mail it to PO Box 2063, Sandy, OR, 97055.
