Dale was born in Portland to parents Edwin and Esther Perren. He was raised and educated in Sandy. Dale had worked for many years at Sandy High School as a janitor. He enjoyed going to the Oregon Dunes to ride his quad.
Dale will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Private family services will be held.
